Cross-country skiing in Reit im Winkl

There are 150 km of cross-country ski trails both in the valley and atop the Winklmoos-Alm and the Hemmersuppenalm just waiting to be explored at no cost to you. The best starting point in the village is the cross-country ski stadium. At the Winklmoos-Alm, its right where you exit the cable car and at the Hemmersuppenalm, it’s at the Hindenburghütte. The cross-country ski trails have various levels of difficulty from easy to difficult and there is even a comprehensive trail for skate skiing. There is something for every winter athlete. There is also access to the Ruhpolding/Inzell cross-country ski trail network (a.k.a. Chiemgau Loipe).
