Forty km of rolled winter hiking trails over snowy meadows and through wintery woods all surrounded by the backdrop of the Chiemgau and Tyrolean Alps are waiting for you both in the valley and atop the mountain pastures.
Germany’s first premium winter hiking trail, the Panorama Trail atop the Hemmersuppenalm, starts at the Hindenburghütte. There is transport from the Tourist Information building or from the parking lot in Blindau. This winter hiking trail is 6 km long and takes approximately 90 minutes to two hours to hike.
The new premium winter hiking trail known as Kaiserblick is closer to the town center. It begins at the cross-country skiing stadium in Tiroler Straße, is 6 km long and takes about two hours to hike. It offers a wonderful view of the surrounding Kaiser Mountains.
